Fail PC is fail

My PC is a i7 920 on an Asus P6T mobo with 6 gig of ram, and a EVGA 260 GTX graphics card. Typically I would be running WoW at around 150 FPS or better, sometimes dipping as low as 40 fps or so in Dal or during intense raid situations. I started getting bad frame rates a couple of weeks ago, and tried dropping addons and updating drivers. No luck. Today when I got home I kicked on my rig and it powered down after a few minutes due to CPU overheating. I never have had an issue before, typically running well below (60 deg or so) the 100 deg. threshold. The heat sink is hot, so i know it is seated correctly. Nothing in the BIOS has changed, and I dont overclock. I dont know, something is wrong somewhere.

TLDR;

No raiding for me until I figure out the issue and can fix it. Trust me, I am working on it. No badges for me until i can fix it Image

i know the feeling... =( hopefully you can get a new power supply or fans or whatever you need before this weekend... bestest of luck with it!

Grammar is important. For example: "Let's eat Grandma!" vs. "Let's eat, Grandma"

Im an idiot

I pulled off my heat sink when i got home and saw that it had gotten clogged with dust in between the fins, no air flow at all.
