Important - Armory Scams
The new version of the armory is now available on both US and EU armory and a lot of people lost their account because of scammers exploiting the popularity of the armory. The scam is fairly simple, people buy advertising on Google to display ads pointing to fake armory sites when you search for the real one on google.
NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER use google to access the official site or the armory, just type http://www.wowarmory.com / http://eu.wowarmory.com in your browser and bookmark it if you're lazy and don't want to type it every time.
The armory now requires you to login for a lot of the features introduced with the latest upgrade and you should make sure that you do not do anything stupid when you access it. I don't think you would use google to go to your Account Management page.
If you think you might have been scammed by one of these pages, change your password immediately. If you do not think that you're concerned by this post, change your password immediately because it's always a good idea anyway.
Also when looking for keyloggers that target WoW open game and type in random fake crap in acc and pw fields and leave it open while running scans, new KL may only run when game client is open therefore hiding unless you do the above.

I was under the impression there wasn't a way to find these. If that's not true, what's a good program to run to weed them out? Not concerned about having or getting one, just good information to have.
I have never seen anyone find or at least admit to finding the infected file, Malwarebytes is free and find alot of badies.
The keyloggers not running unless the game client is open may be the very reason people are not finding them and having to reformat.

Also watch for phishing emails. I've gotten a couple lately that look like they really came from Blizzard. Check the source code on any email from Blizzard to determine if it's really from them or not.
Even if you think it may be real, do NOT use any of the links in the email. Type them in yourself.
The authenticator is cheap so consider getting one. You get a free pet with it too!
